Cleveland’s Country Charities is a 100% non-profit organization, put together by members of the local country music community as a way to give something back to the people of our city. There are no “expenses” paid to ANY third parties. Every cent other then direct event related expenses goes to the selected recipient organization. All the participating bands and sponsors have volunteered their time and products to this organization.
This years selected recipient was THE PROVIDENCE HOUSE . Past recipients have been The Autism Society and Alzheimer's Association.
Cleveland's Country Charities Benefit Concert 2008 was held at The Double Tree Hotel in Independence, OH on Saturday October 18, 2008, from 12:00 PM until 1:00AM.
Total funds from this event were approx. $ 8,000.00 and the event was a huge success. Big thanks to everyone that attended as well as to the folks that worked the auction tables, doors, ticket sellers, security details and set up. Of course a huge thanks to Barb Haslow and all the great bands, Scorekeepers Bar and grille ( for the staff lounge food) as well as the ace production crew.
